海上(ガラスの天井)に向かう前、したたかに先人の知恵を学ぶセイレーンを描きました。豊かな珊瑚が拠り所となり、知恵と文化が育まれます。世界中のこどもたちが、このセイレーンの少女のように安心して学べますように。特に、学習機会を奪われる女児はまだまだ多いのです。

「営みながら朽ちゆくこと、朽ちゆくなかで作り出されるもの」
それらを考察することと、銅を急激に溶かすことでイメージを刻んでいく腐蝕行為に親和性を感じ、近年は腐蝕銅レリーフの表現を追求している。
