チャイコフスキーの歌劇「エフゲニー・オネーギン」。
「白鳥の湖」と同じ年に完成したこの作品は、彼の全10作のオペラの中では最も頻繁に上演される。
その中から、タチアーナの恋心を歌った「手紙の場」を抽象的に表現。
オネーギンに一目ぼれしたタチアーナの情熱的な、でもどこか青さが残る初恋の手紙。
抑えることのできない高揚感から徹夜で気持ちを書き上げる彼女の、苦しくも切ない、そして輝くときめきを秘めた想いを描いている。

“Eugene Onegin” is the opera composed by Tchaikovsky.
This is the most frequently performed opera among his total ten master pieces.
Out of these works, Letter scene which expressed Tatyana’s fall-in-love emotion, was picked up and visualized by the abstract painting.
The letter is full of Tatyana’s passionate but somehow inexperienced affection to Onegin.
Due to her uncontrollable mind and spiritual uplift, Tatyana spent all night in writing down her hard-to-express but hard-to-control secret affection to her first love.
The painting is showcasing Tatyana’s painful but shining inner mind.
