Work Details
Metapetsは、AIによる画像生成、詩的テキスト、そしてデジタルペインティングを組み合わせたシリーズです。本作は、シュルレアリスムの方法論を現代のテクノロジーによって更新する試みとして制作されています。
アーティストは、一般的な短いプロンプトではなく、シュルレアリスムの詩に着想を得た文章をAIに入力し、アルゴリズムの予測を超えるイメージの生成を試みます。そこから生まれる予測不能な生成物、いわば「詩的なグリッチ」は、人間の想像力と機械の偶然性が交差する瞬間を可視化します。
生成されたイメージはさらに編集され、最終的にデジタルペインティングとして再構成されます。その過程から、デジタルのエクトプラズムのようなキメラや、アニミスティックな幻獣のような存在が立ち現れます。
Metapetsの世界観は、福島に位置するMuseum of Contemporary Art Fukushima（MOCAF）を舞台に拡張されています。本プロジェクトは、キュレーター緑川雄太郎による展覧会シリーズ「ART AFTER HUMAN」の一環として2023年に開始され、現在も継続しています。
本作品は、大塚オーミ陶業との協働により、デジタルで生成されたイメージを陶板へ転写することで制作されています。デジタルの儚さと陶という素材の耐久性を対比させながら、AIによって生まれたイメージを物質として定着させる試みです。
本シリーズは、保坂健二朗の選出により、Artists’ Fair Kyoto 2026 にて発表されました。

My practice weaves together photography, writing, installation, and collective devices to explore how art can respond to the fragility of communities and traces of disaster. I create hybrid forms that drift between the digital and the material, the visible and the spectral, seeking to generate spaces for shared rituals and new modes of living together.
By staging images, scents, objects, and ephemeral gestures, I question the status of the artwork in an era of technological reproducibility and ecological collapse. Through collaborative processes and poetic instructions, my work invites fragile alliances and micro-communities to emerge within everyday spaces.
