Work Details
Concept and production intention of the work
The underlying theme of my work is “connection with others.” The “others” referred to here are not limited in time or region. People from the past, people from the future who will be born in the future, and people living in places so far away that they may never pass each other for the rest of their lives. The fact that I'm actually connected to people I don't have any relationships with at first glance, or rather, I'm creating something like that in the form of a work, and I think it would be nice if I could convey it to people who see the work. I think this work strongly reflects that feeling of “connection.”
The characters I draw are basically expressions of “nobody exists = everyone exists.” In this work, his body disintegrates over time. This is a very universal phenomenon as an actual entity in this world. Something like a piece of cloth in the work is also a symbol of the connection that humans spin.
Our lives will come to an end someday, just like the one person in the story, without exception, but my connection as human beings will never disappear even after that, and I put that kind of thought into it.
Production methods and tools used
I use acrylic paint and modeling paste and make it with a painting knife.

Born in 1987 in Kobe, Hyogo. Currently living in the same city. Production activities began around 2015, and two-dimensional character paintings using pixel expressions were presented in 2021. I signed a contract with a Taiwanese gallery and have exhibited many overseas, mainly in East Asia, with that style until now. The contract was terminated in 2025. Taking that opportunity, production activities are being carried out even more vigorously.
