Work Details
木製パネルにワックス、石鹸、木、ワイヤー、アクリル絵具
生命、身体、境界、循環。
生活の中で出会う身の回りのもの、廃材、出来事、
見過ごされがちなものを集め、組み直すことで、
無機質と有機質のあわいに生命を探る。
聞こえない音をきく無音花。
支える骨と、内外をつなぐ皮。
それらは、声を失ったものや
役目を終えた物質に残された
生のけはいとして、立ち上がる。

山梨県出身。神奈川県在住。立命館国際関係学部で環境と経済を専攻、卒業。ニューヨーク市立大学ハンターカレッジで彫刻を専攻、卒業。再生、循環などをキーワードに、廃材や、身の回りの物事を素材にして、生命感帯びる風景を再構成している。2004年Free Art Free準グランプリ受賞、2007年公益信託 大木記念美術家助成基金授与、2009年台北市・横浜市アーティスト交流プログラム審査員特別賞受賞、2021年文化庁新進芸術家海外研修制度にて渡独。 2023年Pollock-Krasner Foundation授与。
