Work Details
金箔は視点、光の加減により作品の見え方が変わります。その変化で趣が変わるのも金箔表現の魅力の一つと感じています。画面全体を金箔で覆った後に彩色したい部分を刃物で金箔を筋状に少し残るような感じで金箔の下の色を削り出します。削ってあらわになった部分に彩色して海亀を浮かび上がらせていく感じで制作しています。
同じアングルの撮影ですが光の加減で見え方の表情が大分変ります。
