Work Details
私は「既成概念に囚われない書」をテーマに仮名を用いた作品を制作している。 その一つに、平安時代の古典の書から文字の意味性を無視し抽象的な形を抜きとり、現代 的な視点で再構成した。コピーアンドペースト。日本や中国など漢字文化圏の局所的な所有物としてではなく、形象として絵画的な側面のみを残すことで「文字」は「文字」でな く別の存在として確立されるのではないか。伝統は革新によって継承されていく。これ は、書が次の時代に残っていく為のひとつの過程として探求していきたい。 また今回は西陣織の帯の材料の引箔に使われる銀箔を素材に用いた。伝統的な技法と現代 アート書道の融合も私のテーマである。
