Work Details
水平線にうっすら重なる幾多の人々の影を立石は「ゴースト」と呼ぶ。ゴーストは表題となる海をみる現代のわれわれが映し出される。立石従寛はInstagramのハッシュタグに紐付いたイメージを人工知能を用いて再構築することによって、人々の持つ言葉とイメージの関係を2017年よりシリーズとして発表している。本作はその中でもさらに細かく切り出された「もうひとつの海景」シリーズ（2018〜）の一つで、われわれのみる霧の海を扱う。霧の海を前にゴーストたちは不思議と、見えない人類の未來をみたいかのように、輪郭を失った水平線の先を見つめる。
