黒曜石は世界中で広く採取され流通していた火成岩の
一種であり、石器時代から現在に至るまで人の道具の素材として使用されている。
またその一片一片には採掘された地の情報が含有されており、
広く分布されている中のどこから採掘されたのかが判るといわれている。
外面から見るだけではその情報は読み取れない
ブラックボックスのようなこの鉱石のウォッチングを行う。
