Title:
Medium:paper,color ink
Size:10×14.8(cm)
Year:2019
Title: Cross Hatching Painting (Kakeami)
Medium:paper,color ink
Size:10×14.8(cm)
Year:2019
In Japanese manga, there are expression techniques that are often used to express the character's impression, the scene transition and so on.
It’s called “Kakeami”, which is a painting that intersects a combination of several straight lines.
I think that Middle Eastern art, such as Islamic patterns, has something similar to this expression.
At first glance, it’s just a geometric pattern.
However, it expresses the feelings of a person and the atmosphere of the scene behind the story.
I created them because I wanted to see how they look in the eyes of the viewer if I try to use this manga techniques, which are almost like an abstract painting, for the context of art.

My work is guided by the shifting moods of the "now." Each project begins with a unique theme and approach, leading to a diverse collection that may seem visually disconnected.
Yet, beneath the surface, a consistent trace of emotion and atmosphere remains. I invite you to experience these intangible threads that tie my creations together.
