Work Details
NYにあるサラダを自由にカスタマイズできる人気のオーガニックサラダ専門店「Sweet green newyork」。そこへ訪れた際にみた従業員のいざこざを描きました。喧嘩をしたのか、私のカスタマイズしたサラダを作りながら泣く女の人。泣かせたのは後ろにいる男の人だ。それに対し周りの女の人が男を睨む。英語で何を話しているのはよくわからなかったが、表情や仕草でいろんな想像ができた。
カウンターなので客はその現場を向かい合わせに見ることになるが、気にしやしない。私はその状況が日本では見ることのできない貴重な経験だった。

Born in Aichi. Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Oil Painting. Painting has always been a part of my life. I started learning painting in elementary school, and studied art in high school and university. My major was oil painting, but now I also create three-dimensional works, picture books, and goods in addition to paintings. The motifs are mainly dogs, animals, people, plants, and living things. Living things have no supporting characters. Please take care of yourself. I hope that the lives of those who receive my work will be enriched even just a little.
