Sanada Shotaro
Biography
Artist. Born in 2000. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, he enrolled in the master's program at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies. CEO of SANADA WORKS CO., LTD.
While working as an artist, he is engaged in informatics research that explores the state of creativity in the AI era. Large abstract paintings on the theme of “new landscapes,” which interweave environmental perception with creative interpretations of gravity and time, received high praise from early on, and received numerous awards such as Art Olympia 2022 and Best Debutant of the Year 2025.
Starting with the production of many large permanent murals represented by JR Nagano Station and JR Ueno Station, they continue their activities across a wide range of media, such as Google Japan artwork, helmet designs representing Japan at the Super Formula All-Japan Championships and the Ski Olympics, and art performances at Blue Note with Millennium Parade members.
Major solo exhibitions include “POINT OF VIEW” GINZA SIX Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore, “NEXT LANDSCAPE” Hankyu Umeda Main Store, “BETWEEN: Landscape and You” Terada Warehouse Tokyo International Gallery, and “Solo Exhibition” Taiwan Shinko Mitsukoshi.
