Artist

鄧宇絜 Teng Yu Chieh
✔︎

Teng Yu Chieh was born in New Taipei City in 1996 and earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Department of Fine Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts. Her artistic talent was recognized early in her academic career through a series of prestigious honors, including the ZhiZhi An Scholarship, the Chang Kuangbin Scholarship, and the Huang Junbi Scholarship, followed by her selection for the Taitung Art Exhibition in 2021. Teng’s artistic practice focuses on the modern interpretation of ink media. In 2024, she held two significant solo exhibitions—The Songs Sings Itself at the 435 Art Zone and Where The Rain Comes at WMM—demonstrating her delicate observation and poetic transformation of contemporary life. Beyond her solo endeavors, she has actively participated in major group exhibitions both locally and abroad. As a promising young artist, Teng continues to cultivate her unique voice within the landscape of contemporary ink painting.
