Work Details

Concept and Intention of the Artwork

This work was inspired by the image of fallen flower petals scattered across the ground, filling the surface like tiny dots to create a textile-like pattern. I painted it in a single, energetic session, focusing on the rhythm of the brushstrokes and the harmony of the color composition.

At the heart of this painting is the idea of depicting what has fallen. It seeks to draw attention to things that exist at the margins—things that are often overlooked or ignored—and to reveal their quiet beauty and significance.

I try to capture it from a larger perspective, reconstruct it analytically, sometimes try drawing the characteristics of colors and shapes with bold brushstrokes, and think about what and how I look at it, and what meaning it has.
