Concept of this work
This painting is inspired by images from Gulf War footage and influenced by the works of Bernd and Hilla Becher.
The footage of the night battle resembles fireworks—or perhaps stars in space. There are many ways to interpret it. Without knowing the facts, the meaning is left to the viewer’s perception.
We are inundated with information, and with the rise of AI, fake information has become increasingly intertwined, making it harder to distinguish truth from fiction.
I want you to reconsider what you see and question whether it is truly real.
