Work Details

In addition to “passageway with entrance/entrance/gate,” which is the original meaning of the word, “gateway” also has the meaning of a network device that connects different networks to each other. It indicates a “connection point” that must be passed through when communicating with other networks, and plays a role in connecting networks using different protocols (communication rules/standards).

If each square is a scene with meaning, then this work is a collection of cut scenes. Even events that felt as if only deep sorrow were engraved on them are transformed into valuable and important experiences over time when you notice the original meaning of those things. I hope this work can become a “gateway” that beautifully transforms the viewer's trapped and distant memories.

Painter/Painter

By using acrylic paint and incorporating mixed colors, accidental expressions, and sensory touches, they are created with an awareness of “paintings that appeal to the senses.”

Multiple styles have been developed, such as the “Mind Record” series, which is an attempt to keep fragments of memories flowing through me as they are, the “Object” series, which features rich textures using modeling paste, and the “Fixed Window” series, which depicts windows held by various people under the theme of “human boundaries.”
