The concept of the work
The title of ST-Line [Tensui]'s work is “Tensui,” and this work is a series with beautiful lines where colors overlap and change. Tensui means rain of blessings from heaven. The rain water pouring down from heaven brings blessings to the earth, and then returns its appearance back to heaven. Rainwater is somewhat similar to the transition of our lives. The colors of the rain water, which beautifully colors nature and the changes in our lives, are spun beautiful lines, and finished in a modern way with silver, silver foil, and watercolor. Furthermore, I created the work hoping that it would lead to a world where people respect and harmonize with each other's ways of life in this unstable social situation, so that various lines overlap and harmonize in the work.
