岡山県出身、東京都在住。多摩美術大学グラフィックデザイン学科卒業。
若くして肉親を失う経験を経て、生と死の境界について深く考えるようになる。
有機質と無機質を組み合わせたモチーフを描くことで、生と死が表裏一体であることを表現し、その探求を通じて人間が持つ可能性や美しさを見つめ直す。
国内外で精力的に作品を発表する一方で、Miu Miuや大阪万博など多分野とのコラボレーションでアートワークを手がけ、作品の根底にある問いを領域を越えて可視化している。
