Work Details
ノエミーザは強く感銘を受けたテーマを作品に残した。この作品で表現したF1レースパイロットもその一つ。1980年代から1990年代にかけてブラジル屈指の花形スポーツ選手となったエマーソン・フィッティパルディ（エメルソン・フィッチパウジ）がモデルだ。
Noemiza registered some themes that impressed her in her creations. It is the case of the F-1 pilot, represented in this work, Emerson Fittipaldi, who became one of the greatest Brazilian sports idols in the decades of 1980’s and 1990’s.
Noemiza registrou em suas criações alguns temas que lhe impressionaram. É o caso do piloto de Fórmula1, representado nesta obra, Emerson Fittipaldi, que tornou-se durante as décadas de 1980 e 1990 um dos maiores ídolos esportistas brasileiros.

ノエミーザ・バチスタ・ドス・サントスは1947年にミナスジェライス州ジェキチニョニャ渓谷のカライー市郊外に生まれた。幼い頃、土鍋作り職人の母親から粘土の扱い方を学んだ。洗礼や婚姻の場面など、息を呑む美しさをもつ独自のテーマとスタイルを生み出した。タバチンガという白色粘土だけを用いて、テラコッタの色調にコントラストをつける。彼女の作品は花などのディテールがメインテーマと拮抗して目を引くのが特徴。有名で、地元でも指折りの創造的な作家として知られるが、孤立し困窮した生活を送っている。
