渋谷の路上や駅などで出くわした出来事とその時に入手したモノを素材に制作した作品シリーズ。

This is a series created with occurrences and items collected from the streets and the train station of Shibuya.

渋谷の喫茶店に入ると、3人の若い女性客が隣のテーブルに座った。3人は、異性との理想的な出会い方について話していた。1人の女性が「自然な感じがいい」と言うと、他の2人は「そんな事言ってたら、絶対出会えない」と口々に言い、「出会いっていうのは、そもそも不自然なものだから」と言った。3人の話を聞きながら、私は渋谷の路上で拾ったイヤリングの事を思い出した。出会うはずのない人との不自然な出会いをつくる出会い。

When I entered a coffee shop in Shibuya, three young women were sitting at the next table.The trio was talking about their ideal way of encountering the opposite sex.One woman said, “A natural encounter would be good.” The other two unanimously followed with, “If you say that, you will never meet anyone,” and went on to say, “An encounter itself is unnatural to begin with.”While listening to their conversation, I recalled the earrings that I had picked up from the streets of Shibuya.Encounters that create unnatural encounters with people you were not supposed to encounter.
