何卒、宜しくお願いいたします。
幼少期から祖父や大叔父の戦争体験を聞いて育ち、当時の過酷な時代を懸命に生き抜いた人々の強さに惹かれ、次第にそれらをテーマとした作品を描くようになりました。近年は作品が展示される場所に応じて、当時その場所で働いていた人々の記憶、葛藤や営みをテーマとした作品も手掛けています。共通して言えるのは、その時代をたくましく生きようとした「人間」を描きたいという思いがあります。
