Work Details
This painting was created with the aim of blending hip-hop culture's sampling and graffiti with Japanese subculture. This time, I tried to combine the theme of Japanese beauty paintings with my own style of painting.
By combining stencils, pop colors, and elements of subculture, we sought to create a mysterious space and a visually beautiful sense of trip, expressing a beauty that can only be created by combining subculture and stencils.
Technique: Acrylic gouache paint and stencil on F10 canvas

Like creating new art using existing images, such as stencils, I incorporated various elements from existing images to create something new. I chose this title to convey the positive image of sampling and hip-hop.

私は、写真や画像データをステンシル（型）というフィルタに通すことで発生する「情報の欠落」と、それによって物質が変容する瞬間に着目している。
ステンシルを使って日常的な野菜が白黒のインクの塊になることで得体の知れない物体のように見えたり、アニメフィギュアがアニメの姿そのままには写らず、3次元になったことによるその物特有の見え方をするはずである。この「情報の密度の差による認識のずれ」は情報が2次元から3次元、3次元から2次元のように情報を削るか、情報を足して次元を跨いだとき、認識にズレが生じて起きていると考えている。
この平面性と立体の境目を絵の中で行き来して、同一画面上で衝突させたり融合させたりする「複合的なレンダリング（出力）」をするような作品を目指している。
