Artist
painters
He became truant from the 3rd grade of junior high school and retreated to his home for 3 years. That experience drastically changed my relationship with painting and gave me an opportunity to nurture the “core” of production.
After entering university, he drew many pictures of the mountain “Ichijouzan,” which was carved into a symbolic shape by illegal residential land development, as a “wound on the earth.”
While drawing works containing criticism of modern society, I was fascinated by idyllic landscapes and decaying buildings, and also painted in oil and tempera.
From the age of 30, he began drawing “Imaginary Scenery Living in This Era,” and later developed as the “Perspectives” series. This shows the desperate footprints of living positively in the face of criticism of society, difficulties, and anxiety. “Perspective” has been a series of works, and currently exceeds about 280 works.
