Taichi Kondo is a contemporary artist whose work blends the influences of his Japanese- Filipino heritage. His art explores themes of identity, duality, and cultural fusion, often portrayed through the iconic character ‘Banananguin, ’ a hybrid of a banana and a penguin figure that symbolizes his personal journey of acceptance and belonging.
