作品のコンセプト・制作意図
この平面は2色のマーカーを日ごとに交互に用いて、日々淡々と線を引き続けることで私が生きている時間そのものを記録したものです。完成した平面は私の人生の時間が織物のようになって現れてるものとなりました。その日の作業時間によって各々の色の線の帯の幅が決まるという平面ですので、最終的にどのような図像になるかは私の各日の作業時間よって決定されます。使用する色と線の引き方のパターンは予め決めますが、最終的にどのような図像になるかは完成するまで分かりません。想像的に作品制作をすることを殆ど放棄することで、美術作品を作ることそのものに対する問いを投げかけています。
