Artist Statement
The TOKYO NUDE series is based on the motif of the city of Tokyo, and the theme is the act of going back and forth between fiction and reality through retouching. This time, the words boundary- have been added to the title, and the resolution has deteriorated significantly, and the photo has been partially collaged as an abstract painting.
Each viewer faces the world in various resolutions (including fiction and reality), and as a result, they must be able to capture the same landscape in a completely different way.
In this work, I would like to make boundaries more prominent by making such differences in resolution coexist.
