Work Details
三重県伊勢の夫婦岩をモチーフに制作しました。この岩は日の大神と海中に沈む猿田彦大神の興玉神石を奉る鳥居です。この岩のある二見興玉神社の境内には多くの蛙の彫刻が置かれ、無事に「帰る」ことや失ったものが「かえる」などの意味合いがあるそうです。蛙は猿田彦大神の神使だと言われております。
