This sweatshirt is a silkscreen print of the sketch process for the work “Material and Ghost,” which is also the key visual for this exhibition.

Makita Ai | Ai Makita

Currently, he is based in Tokyo and New York. Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Art Education in 2013.

The paintings are composed using industrial products made of metal, plastic, etc. as motifs, and they express works that go back and forth between organic and inorganic, two dimensions and three dimensions.

画家、現代美術家

牧田愛は東京とニューヨークを活動拠点にするヴィジュアルアーティストです。主に油彩、版画、そのインスタレーションを用いて制作しています。
東京藝術大学にて修士号を取得、その修了作品は大学美術館の収蔵となりました。
最近では、ニューヨークでのアーティスト・イン・レジデンス期間中に、在ニューヨーク日本領事公邸での展覧会に選出され、二ヶ月間作品が展示されました。
テラダ・アートアウォード、岡本太郎現代芸術賞、ポーラ美術振興財団海外派遣助成、レジデンシーアンリミテッド(ニューヨーク)、ヴァルダアーティストインレジデンシー(サウサリート)など、数々の賞や助成、レジデンスプログラムに選出さています。
