Otsuka Toru Artworks | Online art store for contemporary art

Born in Gifu prefecture in 1980, currently residing in Kanagawa prefecture.
At the Tokyo University of the Arts graduate school, study and study Buddha image production and conservation of cultural property.
Currently, he conducts work involved in Buddha image creation and conservation of cultural property, as well as presenting sculptures of new tastes that combine these traditional cultures and classical techniques.
These works are precisely reproduced using Buddha statue sculpture technique (classical technique) of Japan and are made using the same material as wooden statue (wooden sculpture, japanese lacquer, gold leaf, metal etc.).
