YUKI-SIS

Gallery

Overview

Founded in March 2012 in Asakusabashi, Tokyo, YUKI-SIS began as a contemporary art gallery dedicated to curated exhibitions. After relocating to a space in the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshimae area, the gallery moved in 2023 to an art complex building in Kayabacho, Nihonbashi, where it is currently based. The building is home to five galleries: YUKI-SIS, BASE GALLERY, Contemporary HEIS, ARTDYNE, and ex-chamber museum.

YUKI-SIS presents works across a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, video, and photography. Rather than focusing on a particular genre, the gallery selects artists based on the aesthetic and technical quality of their work, the strength of its concept, and its ability to establish a meaningful connection with viewers. The gallery represents and collaborates with approximately twenty artists from Japan and abroad, including Poland, France, and the United States. YUKI-SIS also participates in two to three art fairs each year, primarily in Japan, Europe, and North America. The gallery strives to be a place where art connects with people, memories, and emotions—a magnetic field that fosters meaningful encounters through art.
