私にとって草花に触れる行為は、祈ることと似ています。それは自然を信仰する日本古来の感覚と繋がるのかもしれません。造形の美しさやその間合いの感覚を拾い上げ、神さまの姿を写し取るように描きます。
最近のテーマは詞。
草花や空の感覚から生まれた旋律と言葉を頼りに、時のめぐりや祈りにそっと問いかけます。

He held solo exhibitions mainly in Osaka,
Participated in many art fairs and markets all over the country.

I draw the shape of a flower by layering a thin layer of pencil and acrylic paint.
The act of touching flowers that grow close to me is similar to praying or making amulets.
This may be linked to the ancient Japanese sense of using plants to ward off evil spirits and believing nature as a god.
I am conscious of picking up the beauty of modeling and the sense of time between moments, as if capturing the image of each and every one of our little gods.

草花の姿を、鉛筆とアクリル絵の具をうすく重ねることで描いています。私にとって身近に生える草花に触れる行為は、祈ることやお守りを作ることと似ています。それは邪気を払うために植物を使い、自然を神様として信仰する日本古来の感覚とつながっているのかもしれません。ひとりひとりの小さな神さまの姿を写し取るように、造形の美しさやその瞬間の間合いの感覚を拾い上げていくことを意識しています。
