檜皮 一彦

大阪生まれ。《hiwadrome》なるコアコンセプトのもとに、自身も使用する車椅子や身体性をテーマとしたインスタレーション作品を手掛ける。また、パブリックへの介入「play」を行い、様々な境界や関係性を問い直すムーブメント、映像作品などの制作も行う。COVID-19パンデミックを経て、未来に託すべき人類の記憶を「love」であると仮定し、その形態は変異を始めている。近年の展覧会に「第22回岡本太郎現代芸術賞展 (川崎市岡本太郎美術館 / 2019)」「TOKYO2021 un/real engine ―― 慰霊のエンジニアリング (TODA BUILDING / 2019)」「Kanon：檜皮 一彦 + 檜皮 しよ子 (岡本太郎記念館 / 2020)」などがある。

Born in Osaka, Japan. Based on the core concept of "hiwadrome," he creates installations based on the theme of the wheelchair he uses and physicality. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he assumes that "love" is the memory of humanity that should be entrusted to the future, and this form is beginning to mutate.
