This installation expresses the diverse cultures and connections between people rooted in Saiki through the threads spun by Saiki citizens and illuminates the region’s richness in vivid color by shining light on these threads. The invisible relationships woven into the fabric of life and history are made visible through the shape of the threads, and the light shown on them reveals the unique cultural layers of Saiki. The work attempts to express through light the invisible connections woven by the memories of the land and its people.
