connection

Connection

A quick internet search on the meaning of "connection" reveals that it means a close relationship that helps things work out.

Connection seems to mean a beneficial relationship.

What kind of relationship is a beneficial relationship?

To change the subject a little, it seems that our cells maintain our bodies by sticking together and withstanding deformation.

This implies that our nature is one of adhesion.

But why on earth, where there are hundreds of millions of organisms with large cell groups, do cell groups not adhere to each other?

I believe that there are only a handful of things that the human brain can understand, and that the world is full of things that are beyond human understanding.

So, given the nature of cells, I suspect that large clusters of cells are somehow glued to each other. In some way that we have not yet figured out.

But we are not aware of it.

I would feel very alone if I felt that I was not connected to anyone in the world. In fact, there was a time when I did.

But I once had a light conversation with the owner of a grocery store, just a quick hello, and it made me feel a little better.

Such a simple connection made my cell feel a little less lonely.

If by beneficial relationships, you mean everything we experience in our lives.

After all, we are all connected, right?

Production Location

EnterI have a home and studio in the south of Kyoto. The Uji River flows in front of my house, and taking a walk along the river is a daily routine. I often get inspiration from nature, so taking a walk is an important part of my daily routine. The sunlight that changes from hour to hour, the veins of leaves, the clouds in the sky... Nature teaches me the essence of what I want to create.

photographer / Artist

After working as a photographer for about 12 years, I began seriously pursuing painting, an interest I'd held since childhood. Several years ago, I moved my studio from Tokyo to Kyoto. Currently, I continue my creative activities from both bases, working as both a photographer and a painter.
