「ゆめまぼろし」は「エネルギーの循環」シリーズのひとつです。

「エネルギーの循環」シリーズは、私の画業の出発点となるシリーズです。アクリル、油彩、テンペラ等を用い、植物を具象的に描きつつも、植物が放つエネルギーを可視化するように色彩が抽象的な広がりを見せます。

幼いころ、道端の植物、石ころなどの自然と遊んだ感覚と同じ気持ちで、植物からインスピレーションを得て描いています。

このシリーズは、日本の伝統的な自然風景の表現法に影響を受けています。日本の伝統的な自然風景の画題がしばしばアニミズム的な世界観を体現するように、私の作品もまた自然の形の中に超自然的なものを追求しています。

The Energetic Cycle series was the starting point of my ongoing artistic inquiry. Using acrylic, oil and tempera painting techniques, this body of work depicts plants in a representational style, while using the abstract application of colour to visualize the energies that the plants emanate. Harnessing childhood memories of playful interactions with the natural environment, I imaginatively painted plants that were found on the roadside. These works are influenced by the traditional Japanese representation of nature. Just as the natural motifs in the Japanese tradition often carry animistic worldviews, my work also seeks the transcendental in images of nature.
