渋谷の路上や駅などで出くわした出来事とその時に入手したモノを素材に制作した作品シリーズ。

This is a series created with occurrences and items collected from the streets and the train station of Shibuya.

車道に面した喫茶店に入った。私が座った窓際の席からは、通りを見渡す事ができた。近くで何かのイベントがあったらしく、歩道を歩いているほとんどの人が同じ柄の紙袋を持っていた。隣のテーブルの2人組の女性が、子育ての難しさについて話していた。反対側のテーブルには、小学生くらいの男の子とその父親が座っていて、指相撲を始めた。男の子がテーブルを揺らしてしまい、そのはずみでコーヒーカップが父親のスマートフォンの上に倒れてしまった。父親は慌てて、スマートフォンを持ってトイレに行った。私は、車道の真ん中あたりに落ちているアルミ缶を見ていた。交通量が多く、その道を通るほとんどの車がアルミ缶を踏んでいた。私は、その度に、アルミ缶が踏まれる音が聞こえるような気がした。ガチャ、ガチャ、ガチャ、ガチャ。

I entered a coffee shop facing the street.From my window seat, I could see across the street.An event seemed to be happening nearby, and most people walking on the streets were holding paper bags of the same design.A pair of women sitting at the next table was talking about the challenges of raising children.At the table opposite me were an elementary school-age boy and his father, who started playing finger sumo. The boy ended up shaking the table and making a cup of coffee spill on the father’s smartphone. The father frantically took the smartphone and rushed to the restroom.I was looking at an aluminum can fallen in the middle of the traffic lanes.Traffic was heavy, and most of the cars ran over the aluminum can.Every time that happened, I felt as if I could hear the sound of the aluminum can being crushed.Crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch.
