渋谷の路上や駅などで出くわした出来事とその時に入手したモノを素材に制作した作品シリーズ。

This is a series created with occurrences and items collected from the streets and the train station of Shibuya.

夜中、渋谷の歩道で、潰れたメガネを見つけた。私がしゃがんで拾おうとした時、すぐ後ろを歩いていた女性の靴がメガネにあたり、そのまま車道に転がってしまった。彼女は、しゃがんでいる私に「すみません！」と言った。私は立ち上がり、自分のメガネではない事を説明しようとすると、車道を走っている車が立て続けにメガネを踏んでいった。そのたびに、彼女は「あ！」と言い、私に謝った。彼女は、踏まれているメガネを私が見えていないと勘違いし、慌てた様子で「今、メガネが、車に、踏まれました」と大声でゆっくりと説明した。彼女は、金色の丸い縁のメガネをしていた。

I found a pair of crushed glasses on the streets in Shibuya at night.When I squatted down to pick it up, the shoes of a woman who was walking closely after me hit the glasses, and they fell into the traffic lane.She said, “Sorry!” to me as I was still squatting.When I stood up to explain that the glasses weren’t mine, cars continuously ran over the glasses.Each time that happened, she said, “Ah!” and apologized to me.She mistakenly thought I wasn’t able to see that the glasses were being crushed, and was in a panic as she explained to me slowly in a loud voice, “The glasses, are being crushed, by cars, right now.”She was wearing round golden rimmed glasses.
