Shadow

This is also Fubuki for Teenage Riot. We shot around Tokyo ​in the middle of an incredibly hot summer, and I asked her some questions. She was hesitant to answer in the beginning but as time went by she started to open up to me more, and I began to ​learn about her. She loves to dance to hip-hop. I see myself in Fubuki. She’s shy and quiet but with a strong and stubborn will that she doesn’t quite know how to harness yet. It’s like she has something inside that are hidden in the shadow and she hasn’t been able to discover.

Maxine, Isabella, Alana and Fubuki and any teens, their own teenage riots are very sentimental and beautiful.

この写真も同じくTeenage Riotで撮ったものです。私たちは真夏に東京で撮影し、私は彼女に幾つか質問をしました。彼女は初めのうちは答えるのに少々躊躇していましたが時間が経つにつれ心を開いてくれ私は彼女をだんだんと知っていくことができました。彼女はヒップホップダンスが好きだと言い少々驚きました。私は吹雪ちゃんに若い時の自分が重ねて見えました。シャイで静かだけど、強さや頑固な部分があって、でも自分でまだ気付かずにいる。何か内に秘めたものがあるけどまだ影に隠れていて見つける事が出来ない感じです。Maxine、Isabella、Alana、Fubuki、それぞれの十代のそれぞれの些細なRiot（暴動）はとてもセンチメンタルで美しいものです。
