「MANUAL FOCUS」シリーズは、モチーフをモザイクガラスで覆うことで、ディテールを曖昧にさせ、物事の本質を問いかける作品です。表面的に物事を捉えてしまう危うさや、美化された記憶と事実との相違、それでも良いと思ってしまう人間の適さ。”分かりづらいけど、なんか分かる”そんな感覚を共感してもらえる表現を目指しています。

Contemporary art works are being developed under the theme of “sympathy” such as the three-dimensional work “MANUAL FOCUS” in a glass box that obscures the focus, and the engraved work “Amulet Lovers” with the theme of amulets. Born in Miyagi, lives in Tokyo Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Metalwork Completed the Glass Art Laboratory at the Tokyo Graduate School of Art
