s+arts

“s+arts (splusarts)” represents artists from a wide range of generations and introduces exhibitions of high-quality contemporary art that is highly regarded both in Japan and overseas for its originality in techniques, visuals, and concepts.

The gallery was launched as “s+arts” in January 2019 at the same location as Shonandai MY Gallery, which opened in Roppongi in 2008 as the second space of Shonandai Gallery first started in Kanagawa in 1987. The space is located at Roppongi in Tokyo, just 1-minute walk away from the National Art Center, and close to the Mori Museum and the Suntory Museum of Art.

In addition to the exhibitions in Japan, the gallery is actively participating in international art fairs, and holding exhibitions at cooperated galleries in abroad. The gallery also introduces artworks from a wide range of artists with art direction to accommodations, restaurants, etc.
