Mizuki Madokoro

Madokoro practice employs methods of observing, verifying, recording, and reporting existence through acts such as counting, taking notes, copying, and pointing. Through these acts, she seeks to demonstrate that even seemingly insignificant and easily overlooked things indeed “exist.” Her works take a diverse range of media and forms, including records such as photographs, texts, and notes, as well as installations that combine these elements.
