Yukio Hashimoto

With a background in visual and graphic design expression, Yukio Hashimoto pursues a new sense of form that makes one feel primitive pleasure while incorporating contemporary poetry.

Awards include Tokyo Wonder Wall Open Call 2013, WATOWA ART AWARD 2021/2022, SHIBUYA ART AWARD 2022, etc.

Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design in 2003.

He has been working as a video director while simultaneously creating paintings.

In recent years, he has primarily employed silkscreen and collage techniques while uniquely blending influences from film and graphic design to explore his dreamlike vision.
