Born in 1988 in Fujian, China
Completed the Research Student Program in Japanese Painting at Aichi University of the Arts in 2022.
Received a Master’s degree in Japanese Painting from Nagoya University of Arts in 2024.
Currently based in Japan and actively engaged in artistic practice.
my research and practice focus on the spatial and temporal expressions of emaki (traditional narrative picture scrolls) in contemporary Japanese painting. Drawing inspiration from folktales and employing the “iji-dōzu” technique — a compositional method found in emaki that depicts different moments in time within a single scene — she analyzes and reconstructs subjects from multiple perspectives to explore new possibilities of pictorial expression.

2022

Selected for the Nisshun Exhibition on the first submission (also selected in 2023, 2024, and 2025) at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art.

Participated in 「Take a Step!」 – NUA Selected Nihonga Exhibition (Daimaru Kyoto, also exhibited in 2023).

Awarded a scholarship from the Yokoyama International Scholarship Foundation.

Selected for the 9th Nitten Exhibition (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition) on the first submission at the National Art Center, Tokyo, and Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art.

Participated in the Kakamigahara Eginu Project Exhibition (Gifu-Kakamigahara Aerospace Museum).

2023

Participated in We’re Leaving! – Selected Emerging Nihonga Artists Exhibition from Nagoya University of Arts (Eizo & Toichi Kato Memorial Art Museum, Gifu City Museum of History Annex).

Featured in Gifu Shimbun newspaper (Feb. 18, Chuno Region, p.14) – article titled “The Art of Papermaking, Thoroughly Mastered.”

Participated in The Wandering Whale – Selected Nihonga Exhibition from Nagoya University of Arts (Sato Museum of Art, Tokyo).

Solo exhibition Capturing Time (Art & Design Center West, Nagoya University of Arts, West Campus).

Participated in artists N, G, Y – Art, Now, and the Future (Organ Square, Matsuzakaya Nagoya).

Solo exhibition Tracing Time (Art & Design Center East, Nagoya University of Arts, East Campus).

Awarded the 33rd Niwa Encouragement Scholarship by the Daikoh Foundation.

2024

Exhibited in the Graduation and Completion Exhibition (Art & Design Center West, Nagoya University of Arts, West Campus).

Master’s graduation work Oni-Taiji Gassen-zu (Battle of Demon-Slaying, 340 × 178 cm) received multiple awards: Outstanding Graduation Work Prize, Furukawa Museum Prize, Mino Paper Art Prize, and the President’s Prize.

Featured in Bijutsu no Mado – New Artists Encyclopedia 2024, p. 55.

Solo exhibition Onigashima – Special Exhibition (Gallery Kansho, Nagoya).

2025

Participated in Assembridge Studio 2025 – Open Studio and Public Nihonga Painting Demonstration (March 6–9 / March 13–16, Former Nagoya Customs Dormitory).

Awarded the Creative Link Nagoya Artist Career-Up Support Grant.
