物理素材を操るフィジカルインタフェース研究や、物質変化に環境や身体との関係を取り込むインスタレーション制作に取り組む。近年の活動に、Ars Electronica Festival、「Ambient Weaving ―環境と織物」（HOSOO GALLERY）、「Journey on the Tongue」（INTERSECT BY LEXUS - TOKYO）での展示・作品発表など。アーティストMikhail Mansion、Kuan-Ju Wuと共に、Natura Machinaとして環境に呼応する作品も展開する。科学技術分野の文部科学大臣表彰若手科学者賞、文化庁メディア芸術祭アート部門優秀賞など受賞。

Involved in research on physical interfaces that manipulate physical materials, and in the creation of installations that incorporate the ambient relationship into material changes. Recent activities include exhibitions at Ars Electronica Festival, the "Ambient Weaving" exhibition at HOSOO GALLERY, and the "Journey on the Tongue" exhibition at INTERSECT BY LEXUS - TOKYO, etc. Collaborating with the artists Mikhail Mansion and Kuan-Ju Wu as Natura Machina, he has also created artworks that respond to the environment. Received the Young Scientists’ Award, The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the Excellence Award in the Art Division of the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival, etc.
