Shusuke Tanaka

At present, he is based in Osaka and remains in vigorous activity. Late last year, an exhibition titled Shusuke Tanaka: Painted Natural History Museum, was held at the Osaka Museum of Natural History. It attracted great attention for the way it highlighted the characteristics of the special space provided by a museum. Tanaka is also going to exhibit works at the VOCA Exhibition 2023 this spring, and his activities as an artist are gathering momentum. His major exhibitions so far include the solo exhibition A lot of other days loaded in today (a Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama, 2020), the group exhibitions Stasis Field 2020 -> 2021 (Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo, 2020) and Approaches to Painting – reprise （√K Contemporary, 2021).
