簡介
空間や場所に浸る事で立ち現れる景色や事象との対話を通して作品を制作している。
私たち人間の身体は動物性と植物性の両側面で成り立っている、という考え方から、作品を通して人間の中にある植物性を引き出し、普遍的な生き物としての精神性を獲得することを目的としている。
主な展覧会に「Dyadic Stem」（The5thFloor、2020）、「2020||: Wardian case :||」（BLOCK HOUSE、2020）、「Standing Ovation / 四肢の向かう先」（ACAO SPA & RESORT、2021）がある。
Watanabe creates works through dialogue with the scenery and phenomena that emerge through an experience of being immersed in a space or place.
Based on the idea that the human body consists of both plant organs and animal organs, he seeks to draw out the inward “plantness” of the human being through his works, and to attain the spirituality of an organic life of universal.
Major exhibitions include “Dyadic Stem” (The 5th Floor, 2020), “2020||: Wardian case :||” (BLOCK HOUSE, 2020), “Standing Ovation / Where the limbs go” (ACAO SPA & RESORT, 2021)
