作品详情
This piece is part of a series of sculptures that capture fleeting moments of rich scenery hidden in everyday life.
It is inspired by the outlines of natural elements and landscapes that suddenly catch the eye in the city—houses tucked among trees, clouds beyond buildings, the wind, and pathways. By combining inorganic concrete with cloisonné enamel, I aim to express scenes where nature and urbanity coexist.
Cloisonné enamel is a traditional craft technique in which a glassy glaze is applied to a metal surface and baked.
Permanently installed in guest rooms at NOZO HOTEL in Furano, Hokkaido.

Using traditional craft techniques, I create three-dimensional works in concrete and metal. Inspired by the landscapes I grew up in, I'm drawn to the contrast and harmony between natural and man-made elements. Through form and color I seek to transform the hard, cold image of concrete into something softer and full of life.
