Abstract Painter
Kayo Nomura (b. 1982, Nagoya, Japan) is an artist based in Sapporo, Japan. Her root is in abstract painting, where she interprets her physical senses through kinetic perceptions, meditating into a deeper level of energy field.
Nomura paints instinctively in milliseconds, illuminating the world of constant motion, captivating moment after moment by layers of watercolors and pigments. By sensing the vibrations in her surroundings and engaging them in kinetic exchange, she transforms them into colors, shapes, and spatial relationships, engaging the viewer to be aware of the present.
2023年夏に滞在制作のために訪れた北海道に恋をして、意を決して兵庫県から移住しました。より大きな空間で自然に囲まれて制作をすることでこれからの活動に少なからず影響を与えています。
東京や関西方面をはじめ、さまざまな地域で個展を開催するための資金とさせていただきます。
