□ 作 品 解 説 □

チャイコフスキーの歌劇「エフゲニー・オネーギン」。

「白鳥の湖」と同じ年に完成したこの作品は、彼の全10作のオペラの中では最も頻繁に上演される。

その中から、第3幕冒頭の大夜会舞踏会の場面で演奏される「ポロネーズ」を抽象的に表現。

盛大なファンファーレで時が告げられ、舞踏会で華やかに踊る客たち。

不機嫌そうにその様子を眺めるオネーギン。

その後、数年前に振ったはずのタチアーナに恋をしてしまうという、未来の不確かさと可能性を描いている。

“Eugene Onegin” is the opera composed by Tchaikovsky.

This is the most frequently performed opera among his total ten master pieces.

An abstract representation of the "Polonaise" played at the scene of the Grand Ball at the beginning of Act III.

The opening time is announced with a grand fanfare, and the guests dance gaily in the ballroom.

Onegin watches the scene sullenly.

Later, he falls in love with Tatiana, whom he dumped a few years ago.

This is depicting uncertenty and possibility waiting in the future.
