渋谷の路上や駅などで出くわした出来事とその時に入手したモノを素材に制作した作品シリーズ。

This is a series created with occurrences and items collected from the streets and the train station of Shibuya.

渋谷の居酒屋でお酒を飲んでいた。隣の席には、胸元に会社名が刺繍された作業着を着た2人組の男がいた。若い男が年配の男に、会社を辞めようと思っている事を伝えた。年配の男は、しばらく腕組みしたままうつむいていた。ようやく年配の男が何かを話し始めた時、ちょうど店の前に救急車が止まった。救急車のサイレン音で、私は男が話している内容をほとんど聞き取る事ができなかった。しばらくして、救急車が去った後、若い男は頭を下げたまま、「ありがとうございます」と何度も言った。店内には、クリスマスソングが流れていた。

I was having some drinks at an izakaya in Shibuya.In the seats next to mine, sat two men wearing work uniforms with the company name embroidered on the chest area.The younger man told the older man that he was considering leaving the company.The older man had his arms folded and his face down for a while.Just as the older man finally started to say something, an ambulance stopped in front of the izakaya.The sound of sirens prevented me from hearing what the man was saying.After some time had passed and the ambulance had left, the younger man, with his head bowed, said “Thank you” several times.Christmas songs were being played in the izakaya.
